Tse-mei yon-ten gya-tso pel-nga-zhing   
Buddha and Saints and disciples throughout time,   
Buddha, Santi e Discepoli di tutte le epoche,

Nyam-chung dro-la bu-chik tar-gong-pe  
Having qualities infinite as the ocean is wide,   
Con qualità infinite come l'immensità dell'oceano,

Du-sum de-sheg se-dang lo-mar-che
Seeing each being as your only child,
Che sentite tutti gli esseri come vostri figli,

Dag-gi den-pe mei-ngag di-gong shig
Please heed my truthful and anguished cries.
Per favore, udite I miei lamenti tormentati e sincere.

Si-shi dung-sel yong-dzob tob-pe-ten   
Buddha's teaching: solitary peace and suffering cease,   
Gli insegnamenti del Buddha: pace solitaria e cessazione della sofferenza,

Dzam-ling yang-pe pen-de pel-du-gye   
Spreading Joy and prosperity through the world,   
Gioia e prosperità diffuse in tutto il mondo,

De-Dzin ke-dang drup-pe kye-bu-nam   
O scholars and great practitioners,   
Oh studenti e seri praticanti,

Cho-jo nam-chu ja-wa pel-war-dzo   
May the Dharma's ten virtuous ways prevail.   
Possano le dieci virtù del Dharma prevalere.

Mi-se le-ngen drak-po yong-non-pe   
Humble beings suffering torments without cease,   
Esseri umili, che soffrono tormenti senza fine,

Bar-me du-ke nar-wei nyam-tak-dro   
Pressed completely by bad thoughts and deeds,   
Oppressi completamente da azioni e pensieri negative,

So-ka ne-tson mu-ge jig-pa-kun   
Pacify their fears: war, famine, disease,   
Trovino pace le loro paure: Guerra, fame, malattia,

Shi-ne de-ga gya-tso uk-yung-dzo   
To breathe an ocean of joy and peace!   
Così da ispirare un oceano di pace e di gioia!

Kye-par gang-jong cho-den Kye-dro-nam   
Pious people in the Land of Snow   
Popolo devote, nel Paese delle Nevi,

Nak-chok la-lo pung-gi tse-me-du   
Destroyed, merciless, through various means,   
Distrutto in mille modi, senza pietà

Ngen-gu jom-pe trag-dang chi-mei-gyun   
By barbarian hordes out of darkness:   
Da orde barbare, sorte dall'oscurità;

Nyur-du cho-pe tug-je tu-pung-kye   
Through compassion may the blood and tears quickly cease.   
Possa la compassione fermare il tuo sangue e le tue lacrime.

Nyon-mong de-ga gya-tso uk-yung-dzo   
Cruel people needing compassion, made mad by delusion,   
Popoli crudeli, bisognosi d compassione, resi folli dalla delusione

Rang-zhen nyi-pung gyi-pe nying-je-yul   
Destroying themselves and others too:   
Che distruggono se stessi e gli altri:

Mi-sun kye-wo tsong-nam lang-dor-mig   
Give them the eye of wisdom to know what to do;

Yong-tob jam-tse tza-wei pel-la-jor   
In a glorious state of friendship and of self love

Ring-ne nying-du nag-pe do-pe-don   
So may this wish of freedom in Tibet

Yong-dzog po-jong rang-wang tsang-mei-pel   
Which has been awaited for a long time be spontaneously fulfilled;

Lhun-drub cho-si sung-drel ga-ton-la   
May the good fortune arise soon

The happy celebration of spiritual with temporal rule

Ten-dang de-dzin chab-si rang-rig-le   
O Protector, please look after them,   
Oh, Protettore, ti prego, veglia su di loro,

Che-pe lu-sog long-jo yong-tang-te   
Those who have undergone great suffering;   
Veglia su coloro che hanno subito enormi sofferenze;

Ka-wa gya-trag drub-pe kye-wo-nam   
Sacrificing lives and all their wealth   
Veglia su coloro che hanno sacrificato le loro vite e i loro averi

Dru-dzin gon-de tug-je kyong-war-dzo   
For the nation, people and religion.

To fully embrace the Land of Snow;

Dre-sang deng-dir nyur-du char-war-sol   
May the good things appear now through your prayers   
Possano le sue preghiere essere  esaudite al più presto.

Nang-tong cho-nyid sab-mo ten-drel-dang   
By the profound interdependence of emptiness and relative forms,   
Per la profonda interdipendenza della vacuità e delle forme relative

Chog-sum tug-ge tu-dang den-tsig-tob   
With compassion through the Three Jewels and Words of Truth   
Con la compassione ottenuta attraverso i Tre Gioielli e le Parole di Verità

Le-de lu-mei den-tu dag-chag-gi   
And through the infallible law of one's actions and their fruits   
E per mezzo dell'infallibile legge dell'azione e dei suoi frutti

Den-pe mon-lam geg-mei nyur-drup-shok   
May this prayer be unhindered and quickly fulfilled.

Against the teaching of the Victorious One

Be totally vanquished through the power of truth of the Three Jewels
